Aadarana collects the least information it can, uses it only to reply to you, and never sells or rents it to anyone.
When you send us a message, apply to volunteer, or subscribe to our updates, we store what you type into the form — your name, email address, phone number, role, the subject you chose, your availability and your message. Nothing more is collected, and none of these forms asks for financial information.
Donations are taken by our payment partners — PayU, PayPal, GivenGain and JustGiving — on their own pages. Aadarana never sees or stores your card, bank or UPI credentials. We receive only the donation record needed to issue your 80G / Form 114 receipt and to keep our audited accounts. Requests for an 80G certificate are collected through a Google Form and are handled under Google's terms.
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a campus visit, process a volunteer application, issue a donation receipt, and — if you subscribed — to send you our monthly update. We do not use your details for anything else and we do not sell, rent or trade them.
Only Aadarana staff who need it, plus our auditors where the law requires, and the service providers that run the site: our hosting and database provider, our payment partners, and the Double the Donation employer-matching search on the Give and Matching gifts pages, which loads their script into the page. Anything embedded from a third party — the Google Maps map, our YouTube videos, the Candid seal — is governed by that company's own privacy terms.
Enquiries and volunteer applications are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our work. Donation records are kept for the period Indian tax and audit rules require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Photographs and names of the children in our care are published only with the consent of the child's guardian or Aadarana as guardian, and only where it is safe to do so. If you believe an image should be removed, write to us and we will act on it.
You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from our updates whenever you like. Write to contact@aadarana.org or WhatsApp +91 8008005535.
